Six Impossible Things Before Breakfast
Patrick O'Reilly
An exhibition of new works by Patrick O'Reilly, held in October - November 2010, which comprised exclusively of sculptural pieces. Taking its title from a famous passage in 'Alice in Wonderland', the collection of works demonstrates unusual versatility made in multiple media. It also exhibits Patrick O'Reilly's unique ability to touch material objects and for those objects to become his agents. From a portrait made out of shovels, to an iconic bronze bear or a 25ft cathedral made from tin cans, Patrick O'Reilly succeeds in taming the material so that the fantasy can flow.
